Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. You need to do research and fall in love( as it relates to work and personality) with your wedding photographer.
Make sure the photographer knows what is expected of him. I usually run my clients through a Q&A session to make sure I know my responsibilities as it relates to the expectation of the bride, groom and their immediate families, in order to serve my clients better.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. I look at the whole story of your wedding, and capture it in images. It's not just the big day, but everything leading up to it. Your wedding day is a culmination of everything you dreamed of and that is what I want to capture so that your friends and family will impressed.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. Every day is like the day I got married. I get butterflies just like you and I'm emotionally involved in your wedding day story. Being there to photograph it's a pleasure and a responsibility I take very serious. That does not mean I don't want you to have fun. I love fun weddings because it makes for spectacular images.
Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?
A. That I am unlike anyone they have met. On top of being respectful and dressing appropriate for the event, I want my clients to feel my passion and reverence for their wedding day.
Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?
A. I loved photography ever since I knew how it worked.
It's something I grew up with and learned to love. What you want in this business is someone with passion. No amount of school is going to replace passion.
