Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: The level of post production work that goes into every shoot. Taking the image is only the first step towards realizing the vision I had when I pressed the shutter. In the old days, it was getting into the darkroom. Today, that means logging on to the computer and firing up Photoshop. I love delivering the finished product, be it a framed photograph or a wedding album, and having my client be completely satisfied with the result.

Stay away from this"photographer". I found his on thumbtack and was initially drawn to him beacuse of his affordable rate. He see me to be educated in photography and had seemed to know and be familiar with wedding photography. Unfortunately I was terribly mistaken. Chris shot my wedding, I gave him a list of must shoot pictures from pintrist 4 out of the 30 MUST shoot were taken. He took absolutely no upper hand the whole day and needed to be micromanage and had a difficult time giving direction. Any brides out there or women who have gotten married should know the last thing you need on the day of your wedding is to have to tell a photographer how to do rhere job. Once I got the pictures I was even more disappointed everything from the horrible angles he shot from to the white blurs in the eyes he said couldn't be taken out beacuse it was from a flash. I've had better pictures taken on my cellphone. I feel taken advantage of mislead by chris. After voicing my concerns I got nothing but rude disrespectful emails back putting the blame on me. Also threats that if I left a bad review he could take it down. This is not a professional by any means. Please beware!! If you want decent wedding pictures use anyone else, I now have to reschedule a time with my husband and bridal party to go retake pictures beacuse I only have a handful of useable ones. I hope this will help at least one person not make the mistake I did!!

This review is filled with half truths and outright lies. Point one, that I only took 4 out of 30 must have photos. A half-truth.I had the pinterest shot list with me the entire time and would refer back to it to make sure we were taking all of the shots that she requested. Most of the shots that were not taken was because she decided not to go to the outdoor location that we had planned (or because she simple did not want to do them). The reason? She didn't budget enough time and her dress was ill-fitted and she was very uncomfortable. We literally drove around the block, after which she decided she need to go back to the hotel to rest before the reception. The real reason this bride is unhappy is becasue she neglected to provide a posed shot list. I reminded her three different times prior to the wedding to do so. As a result there was ONE photo that she wanted but which was not taken--a picture of her, her sister and her mother. There were multiple photos of her, multiple photos of her mother, and multiple photos of her sister. I explained to her that, had she provided the shot list as I requested, I would have happily taken the photo. She had over 150 posed photos of family and friends to choose from. Does that sound like I had a difficult time giving direction? Following the wedding she got angry when I refused to offer her free product for compensation due to my "mistake". She wanted over $300 worth of free prints. Given that I charged her only $650 for the entire day (a 60% discount off my regular rate), I found her request to be unreasonable. The "white blurs" she refers to are called catch lights. They are a desired feature of any photograph, as I tried to explain to her. In my 25 years of photographing weddings, I have never had a bride complain about catch lights. In summary, this is a case of a bride searching for something to be wrong so that she could get free product, a curious stance from someone who thinks my work is so awful.

After meeting with a handful of photographers, we chose Chris to shoot our our engagement photos, wedding and later our kids. I majored in photography in college, so I was very particular when it came to making this choice and we have been using Chris for over 12 years. He recently photographed my head shot, which I have received 100s of compliments on. Chris is a first class act with true talent, very focused when working and trustworthy!
