Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Yoga is more than a set of poses. Yoga is a constant practice with amazing abilities to heal the body, mind, and spirit. I am Yoga Alliance certified RYT-200 Hatha instructor passionate about working with others in their practice and journey. With certifications in yoga for older adults, children, and trauma survivors, I can teach all ages and body types. Prices are negotiable -- I use a sliding price scale and believe health and wellness should be accessible to all. I will work with you to find the price and practice best suited to your needs.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Because of my commitment to making health and wellness accessible for all, I use a sliding price scale ranging from $10-$50, depending on your income. If $10 is still high for you, let me know and we can collaborate on forming a "work study" or "skill exchange" partnership, depending on your skills or passions -- for example, cooking, art, music, web design, organizing, gardening, etc.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have 370 hours official yoga trainings and certifications: -200 hours Hatha teacher training (Yoga Yoga Austin, RYT-200, 2013) -30 hours trauma-informed yoga (Yoga for Recovery, 2014; Street Yoga, 2015) -30 hours children's yoga (Radiant Child Yoga, 2015) -70 hours adaptive and chair yoga for older adults (Tejas Yoga, 2014; Yoga Yoga, 2015) -20 hours anatomy training (Tejas Yoga, 2015) -20 hours bandha, kriya, and mudra training (Tejas Yoga, 2014) In addition, I am a masters student in social work and have worked with individuals of all ages, gender identities, races, socioeconomic backgrounds, body types, etc. I currently work with a non-profit organization that provides free yoga to youth in marginalized, underfunded communities in Chicago.
