Introduction: Kemetic Yoga(TM) and the YogaSkills Method, developed by Yirser Ra Hotep, emphasize slow, controlled movement performed in a geometrically precise manner to bring balance, harmony and rejuvenation. Classes are beginner-friendly, yet at the same time offer challenging training for intermediate and advanced students, that combine movements and breathing with meditation and relaxation.
YogaSkills has trained and certified over 100 yoga instructors throughout the United States and abroad, and has been recognized for its founder's innovative yoga therapy programs for preschool children, school-age children and teens.
Teacher certification is conducted in Chicago and various cities in the US, as well as during biannual teacher training retreats in Jamaica in January and August.
