- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I normally Charge $149.00 For In Home or Remote Service. This Covers 1 computer, and up to two hours labor. (If Parts are needed, they are extra). Compare this to the Geek Squad, which charges $349.00 per computer for in home service, or $200.00 per computer if you bring it in and leave it with them.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always keeping current with the latest technologies. I currently take continuing classes through Penn State, as well as Manufacturer training certifications. I am a partner with several software vendors and help design, modify and create ideas to better serve computer users.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I was 14 years old, I created a BBS System from my bedroom. This was before internet was even known to the general public. I ran my BBS with Wildcat software, and I had over 3000 users from all over the world. It was quite an experience.
