Severity Design is a small graphic design studio located in Elgin, Illinois.
We put together affordable websites, logos, business cards and marketing materials for small businesses, nonprofit organizations, and individuals in the northwest suburbs of Chicago.

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. I usually can be found creating attractive, functional websites for small businesses. I walk through the process hand in hand with my clients and take them through from start to finish.
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. I would advise my clients to have a plan prepared before we get into the execution stages of building your website. Create the text, copy and have some type of concept in mind on paper.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. As a customer, I would want to know how Search Engine Optimization works and I would like to know how I will be able to maintain the website. These are things we offer at Severity Design.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. I would ask how long you've been in business, can I see a portfolio of your web design or graphic design work and I would also ask what the turn around time frame would be to accept my project.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. My work stands out as a designer. I have an eye for sharp, simple design that attracts new business and reaches the target market you are looking for. Many other web design firms may provide a "decent" website...we provide a "excellent" website!
