I think it is really sad that some people want to say bad things about this planner. I used her for my wedding about a year ago and I never had any of these experiences. She always returned my calls, the food was very good (we have used her for family events/other parties several times since) and she was very professional. I think some people are just impossible to please, and I feel some of these reviews are probally just bogus because people don't want to pay for the services they receive. I used all of her services including the bakery-while I didn't have cupcakes, I did have one delicious cake and I do mean delicious as I don;t even like cake. Tonya, in my opinion is first class and made my day so stress free-I went to a winery the night before and enjoyed my night with my bridesmaids because I knew everything was handled. In my opinion-no one should get married or have an event with out her and they would be foolish too.

I just came across this profile page and wanted to add a review.... You want to have a perfect event, you need to use Always Perfect Special Events. Tonya is the most wonderful, organized and efficient planner you could ever use. Not so long ago Always Perfect did my daughter's bridal shower, wedding and also my parents 50th anniversary party. Tonya took care of all the research, planning, booking and when it came to the event Tonya, Steve and her staff did everything and let us enjoy the event. I cannot say enough how excellent Tonya (and Steve) are as event planner and also are just wonderful, caring people.

Tonya was rude and incompetent. She rarely returned phone calls in a timely manner. She left the bride and groom out of the loop. On the actual day she was rude to the family and the wedding party. She was even rude to the bride and groom, which was shocking. The timeline was not adhered to and everything was pushed way back. People were actually leaving during the father/daughter dance. The food was merely mediocre, at best. The service was poor and several tables were missing food or received the wrong food.

Seemed great at first. Everything turned out "fine", but not as well as promised. Really sad to share a poor review, but did not deliver what I expected. So hard to get a hold of which is my main reason for this review. She was really helpful at times, but so inconsistent. Created more stress than I needed in someone who was supposed to alleviate stress. I do not recommend.

A typical job for us would be for you to relax while we set up appointments with our vendors for you for food tastings or an appointment to meet with our vendors. From their we handle everything while you relax and enjoy your event. We will coordinate when everything will happen and handle all the details to make your day completely stress free and enjoyable. What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When hiring an event/wedding coordinator, I feel you need to find someone who shares your vision and who really gets where you are trying to take your special day. All events/weddings are different and everyone has their own style of what they are looking for. I also think that in order to be an AMAZING Wedding Coordinator, you need to be married yourself so you know the stress the bride and groom are under. Stress is a huge part of planning a wedding and if you hire a true professional who shares your vision you will be able to relax and pass that stress along to your event planner.
