Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. I normally tell my customers that it is all about customer service. My customers come first and I tend to find an economical solution for their needs versus just making a sale. I like to make my customer feel comfortable enough to allow me to manage their forklifts for them whether it is one or 100. That way it frees up their day to get their job done. Forklifts is my job - so let me help you and worry about coming up with solutions for their challenges. If they already have a service provider I tell them to give me a shot - one time in and if they are not satisified they have not lost out on anything - but you never know unless you try. So give me a try!!!

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Well I used to work for saleman, before becoming one - so i know what to say what not to say - and to just be honest - some people feel if they tell a customer their lead time was pushed out or they ordered the wrong thing - the customer will go elsewhere. I have found that if you are honest and take the blame - BUT do everything in your power to MAKE IT RIGHT - the customer will not only understand but will respect you for it. So I guess the old adage "If it sounds to good to be true - it probably is" is a good philosphy to live by - if you feel the company your dealing with is over commiting - they probably are.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. Well as in anything in life I think the first question people always ask is price. Which is a good one - but just because the price is lower or incentives are thrown in does not also make the best solution. After asking the hour rates - check out overtime - when does it start - end - if you have unusal hours are they willing to work around those. Also, are they willing to have someone on call for units that break down at night or on weekends? My phone is on 24 hours a day 7 days a week for my customers - I have been attending weddings and step outside to make calls to get my customer the service they need. That is what you need to find. As well as response time for labor and how quickly can they get your parts. They need to understand that every minute your truck is down is costing YOU money. As long as the price is good and the customer service is outstanding - your needs are their main focus - then that should be the provider for you.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. Quality Product and Service for a fraction of the price of the competition. We offer a vast variety of Used Equipment and Top Notch Forklift Service. Anything you need to function in your warehouse we can provide it

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. Enjoy offering solutions to customers challenges and keep them happy to establish long standing relationships.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. With all the competition why should I choose R&J? Well, R&J is an alternative Forklift Provider - we strive to make the customer happy with Account Managers versus Sales People. We work with our customers to make them more effiecent and profitable.
