Had to get PALS certified in early December. Found these guys through the AHA website, which had a link to the Illinois Safety website. Enrolling was very easy online. The facility was a little hard to find but there was adequate street parking and the facility was very nice and clean. Our instructor, Joe, was excellent! He did not waste any time and was very concise and efficient. We got the skills portion done first and were able to spend the rest of class discussing patient care and the PALS curriculum. For practice scenarios, Joe has an awesome tablet that projected basically a heart monitor onto the screen. We could select things like take BP, push medication, shock, pace, cardiovert, etc. When we had to take the written test, there were no surprises. Joe covered everything so we were all well prepared. Most importantly to me was that I had received my e-card by email before I even got home following the class. Other companies Ive taken ACLS with usually take up to a couple days to send you your e-card. I will definitely use Illinois Safety again when its time to renew ACLS, PALS, or my BLS!

I loved the BLS CPR blended course. I was able to take the course online and then come in for my skills. The online course is very easy to navigate through and it is very interactive. The skills portion was informative and helped me review the information I learned in the online course. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is considering taking the blended CPR course. Joe was my instructor for the in-person skills portion and he did a great job reviewing everything with me and then give me feedback on the skills that we went over. Highly satisfied with my experience! I would definitely take this course again.

It was so nice to do all the theory at home, and practice the skill sets and demonstrate prophecy in-person. Much more efficient use of my time. I initially took the SIM demonstrations for granted but learned pretty quickly they were very seriously testing my testing my theory knowledge.
