- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For first time clients, we offer a coupon deal of 1 free walk for your first 5 scheduled visits. A standard pet visit includes a walk, play time, a treat, and a bowl of fresh water. For breakfast, lunch, and dinner visits a meal will be provided along with any required medications. Oral medications or medications that are put in food are free of charge. Insulin injections do incur a small fee. Daily visits and vacation care start at $18.75 and up depending on length of visit.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
1. Only go with a company that is insured and bonded like WatchDogs. This added protection shows an additional level of maturity in a company. 2. Find a Pet Sitter's International member company. We stay up to date with the latest trends and information in the industry. 3. Only use a company who has their pet companions background checked and trained in minor medical care. At WatchDogs, all our pet companions' backgrounds are screened and each walker is trained to provide minor medical care should the unfortunate occasion arise. 4. Quality time. We value time with your pet. That's our minimum pet visit in 25 minutes. Beware of other companies that offer "10 minute potty breaks"...your pet isn't getting as much attention or quality time.
