Introduction: I work as a recording engineer and music producer. I do spoken word, rock group, big band, choir, jazz ensembles. I have a small studio space in Hammond, IN, and a large studio space in Park Forest, IL. I'm also a professional pianist, teacher, and composer. I specialize in teaching improvisation and music technology: Synth programming, Pro Tools, DAW, sound, editing, and recording. I also teach piano to beginners. I am interested in seeing people learn how to use their tools, whether that is a musical instrument or a music recording application. I have been in broadcast television and music production for 20 years and am an experienced audio engineer for music, television and film.

Chris is a skilled and talented recording engineer. First, he is excellent at mic selection and placement, resulting in good capture material. Due to his musical background, he is able to contribute greatly to pre-production as well, making client's actual studio time efficient. Chris is a skilled editor, able to properly clean up and prepare tracks for mixing. As for mixing, Chris has a professional and creative command of effects and signal processing. He finishes with a tasteful mix ready to be mastered. For those projects that are direct-to-web, or other non-radio projects, he also can complete mastering tasks with excellent results. Chris' personality relieves tension and pressure in the studio. He is willing to share insights and direction without becoming intrusive.

Well what can one person say! My experiences with Chris last several years Have been nothing but upright and professional! From according to live performance This man is by far one of the best In the business. I remember the very first time I saw him perform With the Prairie State big-band jazz ensemble After watching him perform his first solo I just about fell out of my seat Strangely enough I was good friends with his stepson cable When I visited him at work the next day I was bragging about what a great player Chris was Well he said I'm glad you enjoyed that because that's my stepfather I turned him in surprising said you're kidding me So I told him I would love to meet him one day and he said that shouldn't be too hard to do it all he standing right behind you. I myself is a 20 year plus pro veteran Ask Chris if we might have the opportunity sometime to get down and perform We have done many performances since then and studio and onstage And I have the video to prove it. I would encourage you to take Chris and work with him you will not be disappointed!!! Performance videos and audio upon request.

My musical life was graced the moment Chris began playing in rehearsals for a live performance we both were hired to play. To describe him musically one word, master. His musical skills are paralleled by his intuitive and fluent understanding and integration of Digital Audio Recording to produce brilliant musical soundtracks. Chris can weave seamlessly from genre to genre. That's just part of it. Chris is one of the most delightful individuals you will ever meet. As a guitarist, playing music with Chris is a gratifying and creative experience. He brings the music up a notch, and is is one of the most talented and brilliant musical artists i:ve ever had the pleasure to work., hands down.

I've known Chris as both a colleague and a friend for many years now. The one thing that stands out to me about him, is that he has an absolute unadulterated passion for music. He appreciates the art in a way that cannot be taught, and that is unfortunately very rare in our industry today. As a recording engineer he is an absolute perfectionist, is very easy to work with, and produces simply amazing results. I would (and regularly do) highly recommend him to anyone in need of his services, you will not be sorry you did!

I have two studio sites, one small and one large. I also travel to other locations (churches, auditoriums, basements...) to get the best performances for my clients. I also teach piano and music technology on a one to one basis. I am a professional piano player - rock, jazz, gospel, classical and many other styles.
