Richard Gaines is a professional dancer, actor, and singer who has worked with such entertainers as Michael Jackson (Thriller), Janet Jackson (Alright), Paula Abdul (Knocked Out), Shirley McClaine (Out on a Limb), Richard Gere (Primal Fear) and many others. He has opened The Richard Gaines Academy for the Performing Arts in Glendale Heights, IL. With an emphasis on technical training in the fields of dance, acting and singing, he brings over 20 years of experience to your aspiring student. Please know that this is not a competitive academy. Mr. Gaines has decided to concentrate on teaching your student techniques and disciplines that he knows will help further your student in the world of entertainment. Along with an exceptional staff, Mr. Gaines has been sought after by many elementary, middle and high schools in the Northwest Suburbs to bring his fun, exciting and fresh approach to their students. Now, that program is available to your student. The Academy offers instruction in jazz, hip-hop, ballet and tap, as well as vocal and acting.
