About
I have had the privilege to transform a barn into a rustic chic reception, have a couple get married on the lake on a charter boat, created an elegant, summer wedding luncheon at a Beachouse and had fireworks in the sky on New Years Eve. In addition, I am a member of the Association of Bridal Consultants and hold the designation of Accredited Bridal Consultant with them, the only one in Idaho This designation was received after a peer reviewed process and evaluation of my training, dedication to the wedding industry and reviewing the work I have done The more off beat request and creativity that goes into a wedding the more I enjoy planning that wedding. Although of course we have done weddings where there is a ballroom and traditional church, we welcome the challenge of the non-traditional couple.

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I recently attended the Special Event Conference, a week long education workshop. I gained great knowledge and was inspired about new trends we will be seeing in weddings in the next few years. I attend one national conference a year in order to stay on top of trends and expand my network of ideas.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

The most important thing when hiring a wedding planner is to make sure that you click with them. You will be spending months and in some cases even a year or two working with the person you must trust them, respect their opinions but even more importantly like them as people. This is why a face to face appointment is always necessary when hiring a planner.
