Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Berber and synthetic carpet cleaning
Microfiber, polyester, cotton furniture upholstery cleaning.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Make sure the company has a IICRC C.C.T (carpet cleaning technician) come out. If the price is too good to be true... it is. Be careful of bait & switch carpet cleaning company's.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Neutralize acid stains by using an alkaline spotting agent

Neutralize alkaline stains by using an acid spotting agent.

Some stains have no PH because they are waterless stains. You must use a neutral product (solvent) to remove these stains.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. A room consists of up to 225 sq ft over 225sq ft will consist of two rooms

Moving furniture will not move TV sets or china cabinets
with china in them. Anything to be moved should not have any nicknack's or picture frames ext..

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. My sincerity & Afford-ability. My 12 step carpet cleaning
methods. I will not leave a clients property until they are 100% satisfied. I do whatever it takes to get the job done right the first time.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I enjoy being owner operated. I like the satisfaction of doing a job for a client and knowing that they are 100% satisfied. I like meeting new people, I am very people oriented, I enjoy talking to my clients and coming up with solutions for any needs they may have.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Do you move furniture? Yes we do , under normal pricing, we move, standard couch, love seat, chairs and tables.
Do you vacuum? Yes we do but we would like the customer to do a standard vacuum before we come out.

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. A client owned a day care, there were a few big stains she didn't think we could get out. She was so pleased we removed the stains. She was thinking about replacing the carpet and I saved her about $1800. She calls me to do her rental house and mothers house.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. I worked for a carpet cleaner and I liked meeting new people new scenery. And I have a passion for a fair price and a good honest work ethic, so i decided to open my own business.

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. 4 rooms of carpet cleaning and a couch, love seat and two chairs. The carpet looked so very good and the furniture looked brand new. The customer was ecstatic, he even gave me & Mark a $20.00 tip. I tried to refuse but he deeply insisted.

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. My continuing education is with IICRC.
My goal is to be a Master Textile!

Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?

A. Latest developments. We rinse your carpets, we spray the traffic areas with a Pre-spray and use a fiber rinse to rinse the shampoo/chemicals/solvents out of your carpets/upholstery. Leaving them clean!

Q. Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.

A. 4 rooms of carpet cleaning and a couch, love seat and two chairs. Two carpet & upholstery techs, 1 air mover a vacuum , lint rollers, steam cleaning & upholstery equipment. $320.00 took 3 hours left house was 95% dry.

A. Pricing can be complicated due to deeply soiled carpets, the size of a room, type of carpet, the thickness and drying time.

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?

A. You need experience in cleaning carpet & upholstery
and its hard work.
