Paw Law offers many services for the discriminating dog owner. We do classes from puppy to competition obedience, agility, flyball, dock diving, scent work, and weight pulling. We offer drop-off training in conjunction with our doggy daycare and boarding programs. All of Paw Law's trainers are certified dog trainers either by the Council of Professional Dog Trainers (CPDT) or graduates from the Animal Behavior College.
Paw Law has been in business for over 13 years teaching dog owners how to train their dogs using positive methods; we do not use choke chains, prong collars or electronic collars to train the dogs that come through our doors. We will also come to your home for private training if that is what you are looking for. Jan, the owner of Paw Law, also works with "problem" dogs, dogs that need more than a group class to modify their behavior.
Paw Law's doggy daycare and boarding services allow your dog to be a dog. All dogs are evaluated for daycare and/or boarding, because during the day, the dogs play and play and play some more. We are much safer than a dog park, since all of the dogs have been evaluated for appropriate temperament, and all are current on vaccinations.

Eight years ago, had it not been for Paw Law and Jan's training methods, I would have NEVER continued in Obedience or Agility... Thanks to the positive training methods used by Jan & Paw Law, my dog went on to achieve many titles and ribbons... however, even more meaningful than all of that, we established a beautiful bond and she became my best friend. She is gone now, but the experience I received at Paw Law to use positive training methods now continues to live on thru my 2 new baby dogs. Thank you Jan, and Paw Law, for all of your help through the years.

A. Paw Law's trainers are either graduates of the Animal Behavior College or have been certified (after being tested) through the Council for Certification of Professional Dog Trainers, which requires continuing education units to be earned every 3 years for re-certification.
A. Knowing that ANY dog can learn if given the opportunity to do so.
A. How do I get my dog to stop jumping on people? Stop giving them any kind of attention while jumping. Only pay attention to the dog when it has all four on the floor.
