Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. I specialize in children's birthday parties, I also am hired for store openings, special events, sporting events.
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. When booking for the your summer event, make sure that you book your entertainer as soon as you know when your event is going to be. The entertainers, book up very quickly in the summer months.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. When hiring a face painter, always make sure that they are using only face paints that are made for the skin. You would be surprise, people will use acrylic paints, which is toxic to the skin, and can leave rashes, also we use special glitter made for the skin. Regular glitter for crafts have sharp edges on them, and can cut or irritate your skin or even hurt your eyes.
We also carry insurance to guarantee you are hiring a professional.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. I take extra effort in my art work, and I have a lot of patients with the children.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. It's very rewarding to see the smiles on the children's faces when they look in to the mirror.
I have always been an artist, I am very fortunate to find a job that I can apply my art to. It a good thing when you can enjoy your job!
