Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Network connectivity issues; whether it's a bad ethernet cable; incorrect wireless password or someone can't see a network drive anymore, the majority of issues stem from not being able to access the network or something on the network.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Ask for references. Everyone will give you a good reference but ask how long they have known the provider; what kind of work they have done and what issue they have had. No relationship is perfect; what is something they would like to see the provider do differently?

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. We build relationships with our customers, they know that they can call us with a quick question & not get billed everytime. It's not about the fast dollar, it's about the repeat customer. We do not charge an emergency fee during normal business hours or additional fees for work scheduled for off hours or weekends.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I enjoy working with lots of different people in different environments; one day may be at a factory and the next day could be a bank. I enjoy working on different projects; it gives me the opportunity to learn more and expand my capabilities rather than just being the Exchange person or the database administrator . . . I get to do it all.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. "Is this something I can fix?" Sometimes it is something easy that the customer can fix & I will talk them through it but many times it is more complicated and there is the potential for data loss; that's when I tell them that they should have me come in to take care of it. I will make sure data has been backed up and precautions are taken before making changes.
