FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always going to business summits and continuing education classes. Having a double certification requires continued education courses. In fact to maintain the certifications requires CEU credits and keeping current with the American Heart Association CPR certification. Also, being a former Paramedic helps me with my clients. I have a much better grasp of how the body works and how to keep it healthy!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I was 14 years old I remember being in the High School library. I was goofing around or something before hand and was sent there as a detention. Anyway, I was being taught about the Dewey Decimal System. As I was looking around I noticed a book about weight training. On the cover was a man with a phenomenal physique that caught my eye. I remember thinking how cool it would be to have a physique like that. I was always small and was picked on at times from some some of the bigger bullies in school. Shortly thereafter I began strength training. Wow, I got some great results in a relatively short period of time! As I increased in musculature and strength I remember being confronted from one of the larger bullies. To make a long story short, he never bothered me again after our SHORT confrontation!! For that matter I was never bullied again! Word passed around quickly that I was someone not to mess with.
