Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. The most common are routine maintenance for aquariums. However, Aquatic Paradise Servicing offers setup, design, and delivery for a home or business. We provide the service and care needed thereafter.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. Aquatic Paradise Servicing offers superior service and at a lower rate than the competitor. Most products that are ESSENTIAL in adding to an aquarium during routine maintenance are: Tap Water Dechlorinator, Aquarium Salt(for freshwater tanks), Beneficial Bacteria, and Stress Coat. What do these products do?: Tap Water Dechlorinator takes out chlorine and chloramine that are often found in tap water. While this is safe for us, it is deadly for fish. Aquarium Salt improves gill functioning in fish, reduces stress, and replaces electrolytes. By doing that, it helps to prevent many diseases that fish are susceptible to. There are millions of micro organisms flowing around in the aquarium. What Beneficial Bacteria does is replaces lost bacteria during routine maintenance, and help bring down any hazardous bacteria levels. Stress Coat uses a special formula which includes aloe vera that replaces the slime coat on fish. This slime coat helps prevent the fish from getting sick. Most competitors charge for these products. However, Aquatic Paradise Servicing includes these products at NO ADDITIONAL COST! We also are not limited to forms of payment like some other companies. We gladly accept all forms of payment including: Cash, Check, Money Order, PayPal, and Credit Cards.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. The fulfillment and joy of taking care of different parts of the underwater world. To be able to design and setup an aquarium is something I myself have always done, and always look forward to doing. Whether it be for myself or one of my clients. Knowing that the clients are happy, and able to enjoy their aquarium makes it so much better. It’s so exciting to see so many aquariums, and different types of setups.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. How exciting it is to own an aquarium! Not only is this a fantastic hobby, but it can be a standout piece in a house or business. A conversation piece. A true piece of art. Fish are shown to reduce levels of stress. Their unique colors, swimming habits, and design of aquariums can help give people a moment of peace and quiet. There are so many different types of fish, coral, or plants. Each aquarium can have its own uniqueness and beauty to it.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. Easy. "Find something you love, and you won't work a day in your life." I love taking care of fish, because it's been a long hobby of mine.
