I am a dog walker, and I also do pet sitting out of my own home (mostly puppies). I help potty train them and socialize them with my 3 dogs and the other dogs that I take care of as well. The one good thing with starting with puppies is that they are used to my dogs and learn submission rather than aggression.
I have 2 part-time dogs that come for the day, and then they go home to the family. I also provide sleepovers, so your dog doesn't have to be boarded while you are on vacation or just out of town. I take care of your dog just like I do mine. I feed them; we have our potty time and we have play until you pass out time.
Also, we have some training; for instance, what would be considered bad behavior. I can work with them like I do with my own dogs. I can be like a second home for your pet in case of an emergency or travel. I can pick your dog up, or you can drop your dog off. I also can come to your home to take care of cats, birds, and/or fish; yes, I have been hired to feed fish.
Besides having dogs all my life, I have had cats, and I also have a Nanday Conure. My dogs have all their shots, and I do expect your dog as well to have all of its shots. I am very reasonable and understand our current financial times.
I live in Lombard, IL and work in the immediate areas, such as Villa Park, Oakbrook, and some parts of Downers Grove.
A. My advice would be to hire a provider that would treat the customer's dog like their own, with care and attentiveness.
A. My work stands out because I provide the utmost in care and service to animals and their owners. I'm sincere in providing the best service to my customers and their pets.
A. What I love most about my job is that I love all animals. I see my job as being very important because a person's pet is considered a family member. My customers trust in the care I provide for their animals and that is very important to me.
A. Yes, but too many to remember. What I do is leave notes for my clients highlighting the daily episodes of care and I especially note some of the many humorous actions of each pets individual personalities.
A. I have customer's who are first time dog owners. Their dog wasn't feeling well and they had taken him to the vet. Due to bouts with vomiting and diarrhea, they asked me to check on him on a non-scheduled work day. When I arrived I noticed he wasn't his usual jolly self. Due to my experience I was able to determine that he was ill and suggested they take him back to the vet and request more tests. The owners later informed me that more tests were done confirming the dog was very dehydrated and battling a virus. The owners requested I return and keep the dog under my observation and provide company for him. Due to the fact it was a medical emergency I did not charge my clients.
A. My greatest strength is my passion for animals and their care. My life long love for animals causes me to be responsible and very dependable.
