A. Some people look at my trade as a no brain, strictly labor type of trade. It is a "technical"trade, which also involves labor.
Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?
A. I like to work with my hands, and my brains.
Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.
A. It was very hot and humid over the holiday weekend.I got a call that a woman lost partial power to her home.NO A.C.!I fixed the problem, and her and her dog Where sitting comfortable in their air conditioned home.
Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?
A. Every few years,I attend an Electrical Code Update class.

A. Everybody is GOING GREEN.I'm looking forward to seeing the new devolopments.
Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?
A. If you want to get into the electrical trade,go to school and get licensed. That's what seperates you from these guys who claim to be an" electrician",when in reality, they're a " handyman".

I was recently doing a remodel on a house that needed some sprucing up to be put on the real estate market. The house needed a lot of painting, flooring & millwork installed. The part that troubled me was the electrical. So I called Scott Nelson Electric to handle my dilemma on this remodel. Scott not only gave me good advice on fixture selection ,he troubleshooted a electrical problem in timely fashion. Seeing that Scott was knowledgable, took pride in his work & did not charge me an arm & a leg. I will call Scott Nelson Electric for any electrical work I have in the future. Thanks Scott we were under budget & the house sold in a very tough market. The new homeowners love the new ceiling fan you installed & they wanted me to tell you .
