- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attend trade shows and conventions, like the Experience, annually to keep up-to-date on whats new in the cleaning industry. I also read many environmental and cleaning blogs to stay informed on the latest happenings in the field.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I decided to start my own cleaning business because of my own negative experiences with the carpet cleaners near me. As I was calling around to get estimates, I noticed that everything was overpriced and that even the sale prices were surprisingly misleading--there was a lot of fine print and hidden fees. I wanted to start a company with fair prices to keep these other guys in line.
