Introduction: I am a full-time musician and percussion teacher. Having chosen to devote my career life to drumming, I teach and/or perform as my primary work focus. I stay active and involved with music on a daily basis. The experience a student gets from me is influenced by the musical lifestyle that I lead. I enjoy everything that I do with my work and this is reflected in my teaching style and method.
I like to hear about the goals that my students set for themselves and achieve. I have students who have prepared for auditions and made it into their school jazz band, church praise band, or rock band with like-minded musicians from the area. Having a part in their preparation that resulted in making their goal a reality is a wonderful feeling!

Bill has completely reformed my son's percussion/drum kit abilities. He has an effective curriculum, is knowledgeable in all things percussion, not just drum kit, and is a gentleman. His own drumming skills are superb and he is well-liked by my son. He enjoys their lessons and the knowledge passed on is evident. I highly recommend Bill's services.

Billy Williams is a fantastic drum teacher. He has been providing my son with in-home drum lessons for the last several years and I have seen my son get better and better. He has even been helping him with bells! He has developed a great rapport with my son.

Billy has been providing drum lessons to my 5th-grader for about a year, and it has been great. The convenience of in-home lessons, combined with Billy's enthusiasm, light-heartedness, and real love for the instrument come through every week! I would recommend Billy.

Bill has worked with our 13 year old son for about two years. We love the convenience of having in home lessons. More importantly, he has been an excellent motivator and educator. He works with our son on his current musical interests and encourages him to go further in his musical exploration. Bill provides a dynamic and fun approach to teaching and has proven to be consistently supportive in our son's drum and percussion education.. We recommend him to anyone who is interested in learning to be a better drummer.

Both of my children have been taking drum lessons with Bill for over two years.
From a logistical standpoint, in-home lessons are so much easier than having to drive to a location. Bill is very reliable and I can't remember a time that he was late. If a lesson has to be canceled or rescheduled, he always alerts us and gives ample notice.
From a coursework perspective, I really appreciate that Bill continues to work on the fundamentals, even two years into lessons. He stresses the importance of the fundamental rudiments and always drills those before moving forward with more technical or free-form playing.
I highly recommend Bill as a teacher for those looking to start learning how to play.
