Introduction: Our work doesn't stand out. It can be found whenever you book a $2,000 wedding from a vendor that has 100+ reviews on WeddingWire or the Knot. This is because we are the DJ's that those vendor's use. We have made careers of being independent contractors. 312Weddings&Events is intended to gather a small handful of highly qualified professional wedding DJ's under one name, and provide the best service that can be had.
DJ'ing (weddings, in particular) is a much more complicated, strategic task than, say, DJ'ing at a bar or nightclub. Our DJ's are tasked with getting two different families, who likely have never met before, who span in age from 15 to 80, to dance together and have fun, all night long. This is not always an easy task, and it requires an ability to read a crowd, to know exactly what song, or kinds of songs, will appeal to that group of people at any given moment. This is something that takes experience. The more experience a DJ has, the more likely it is that the DJ can make qualified decisions. This is why each of our disk jockeys has DJ'd a minimum of 100 weddings. Because we only employ highly recommended, seasoned DJ's, our staff stays small and our performances stay extraordinary.
Additionally, we offer no cheese - no chicken dance, no YMCA or "We Are Family" or Right Said Fred. And we mix our music together, which is very rare to see with wedding DJ's these days - specifically, because most are too inexperienced to do it properly.
