Introduction: I am a current member of the DuPage Symphony and have 20 years of playing experience. I was initially educated in the Suzuki method at both Western Springs School of Talent and Community School of the Arts in Wheaton, followed by pre-conservatory study with Drew Lecher and Nan Zhou. I use a combo of Suzuki and traditional methods, customizing to the student's individual needs and heeding Dr. Suzuki's philosophy at all times.
I am also a trained baroque recorder player who has studied privately and taken guest lessons and clinics with nationally-known recorder experts as Vicki Boeckman, Lisette Kielson, Rotem Gilbert and Leighann Daihl. I take violin students ages four and up and recorder students ages eight and up, either through Alleluia Lutheran Church in Naperville or privately within the student's home depending on distance.
Please feel free to contact me via Thumbtack for more details, and thank you for considering me to be your violin teacher!
