I support women in a variety of ways, from fertility yoga classes and Thai massage to help unblock energy all the way to lactation education, breastfeeding support and anything non-medical in between.

I have a long list of credentials which include trained professional doula, a registered Thai therapist, prenatal fitness and yoga specialist, educator and natural birth supporter.

My clients appreciate my compassion, honesty and knowledge. I support every woman's right to choose what is best for her and her family. I believe this starts by eliminating fear and increasing education.

Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Prenatal fitness and yoga, childbirth education, labor doula, postpartum doula and baby care, babywearing and breastfeeding support and classes.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Although I am a mother and have experience both as a birthing woman and supporter of birthing women, I think a family should make its decision based on who can support them best, not necessarily who has had the experience of birth. Birth is a private experience and does not affect a doula's ability to provide great care and support to another family.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I have a degree in education and approach my work from the role of an educator. My job is not to make decisions for families, it is to pass along information so they can make their own. My diverse personal experience in my field and complementary credentials and certifications set me apart from others in my field.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I love helping families empower themselves, teaching women to trust birth and to bring healthy babies into this world by less intervening methods.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. When should I call you. My answer whenever you need me.
