I offer original artwork in a variety of media, including watercolor, acrylic and pastels. Each piece is uniquely conceived and created. High contrast and bold color incorporated into the subject - be it figurative, floral or landscape - is the basis of the works.

Workshops, lectures and demonstrations are also available. With my many hours as a practicing artist, I am not only capable of creating expressive and beautiful work but am also capable of communicating the techniques and skills to others in a positive and exciting format. I'm proud of the many galleries and museums that have displayed my work, but the greatest joy is in the creation.

After studying with Suzanne several times, I can truly say she is first a true artrist. Best of all, she is a special lady with much compassion for all artists. She is fearless and can attack the paper with out concern of failure. Her subjects are diversified and always unique.

Great instructor who has taught at the Morris Watercolor Guild for several years & we keep asking her back because she explains things so we understand. She has years of of teaching experience and is past president and workshop chairman, of the Transparent Watercolor Society of America. She always has time to answer questions, and gives excellent suggestions on how you can improve. She loves color, and loves watercolors. Plus she makes the sessions fun!

Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Workshops, demos, and lectures.
Custom paintings for people's homes and public spaces.
Consultation on color, design, interiors, and concepts.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Let the artist's experience speak. Communicate your ideas, but rely on the artist to know how to convert your ideas into a clear and succinct vision.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. It's current, original, fresh, and relevant. My work also includes reaching out to others interested in expressing themselves through workshops, demos and lectures. The paintings are created for today's world, but intended to last forever; they are created with the finest quality materials available so they can be enjoyed for generations.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. The opportunity to create something new and different everyday, knowing it may bring either pleasure or mental stimulation to the owner. I also enjoy teaching workshops and seeing others begin to enjoy a painting experience on a higher level than where they currently are.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. What do you like to paint? Anything that strikes my fancy. I am fortunate to have a strong drawing background, and therefore am able to paint whatever inspires me.
How long did it take to make this painting? Well, I usually have 3 or 4 paintings in the process at any one time, and work on them in rotation. There's no way to say how long a painting may take, but most take from 20 hours to 40 hours - that's after creating the idea and preparation work.
