Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Lead generation is not brain surgery it is finding what kind of people buy from you now and go out and find some more of them.

Being in the business as a service provider of lead generation, we don't have the distractions of running the business and all the day to day headaches. We are able to stand back that look at their business as a customer would, the good and the bad. Then we put it together a multi channel attack we can penetrate into the target audience on different levels in a way they want to be talked to and with.

Could our clients do it themselves? Yes, or course, but it takes work, staying focused, presentence and sometimes (in the case of telemarketing) very thick skin.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. The biggest thing a company needs to know before starting a lead generation program is what the definition of success.

If you can say I need 20 new sales leads or I want 5 new customers we know if we are doing a good job for you, within the budget constraints set. If we don’t feel we can do the job you need done within the budget you set, we should not have taken the project in the first place. But if we take up the challenge and put together a program that works. It acts as a benchmark as to what to expect in the future or gives us a road map as to what changes need to be made in your program.

The second most important thing is to know the length of your sales cycle. We can shorten it but an industries sales cycle can’t be overcome or changed in any dramatic fashion. It is what it is.
