Introduction: Since 2009, Amy has been an on-location photographer for the Plainfield, IL and the Chicagoland area. She is also a senior photographer for Bella Baby and Bella Life Photography. Using natural light, Amy specializes in contemporary portraits of expecting mothers, newborns, children, families and weddings. Each shoot is personal and unique to each family. Amy captures not just the smiles, but the quirky little expressions as well. It is Amy's goal to capture a little slice of your family's life and love in her sessions. What types of customers have you worked with?
Family lifestyle portraits are my most common photo sessions. I feature each child, the children together and then the whole family. My style includes posed portraits as well as lots of candid/interactive images. My goal is to capture authentic family interaction to create images that represent a little slice of your family's life and love.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look for a photographer whose style you admire. Lifestyle family photographers are very different than photographers that offer stylized sessions with lots of props. I like to use my family's natural surroundings or a park or location that has meaning to them. I photograph children with their own little prized possessions (blankets, toys, books).
