Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Ask around about the DJ. If their reputation is good, hire them. A good reputation is built over time with many satisfied customers.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Reputation is everything. Right now there are tons of guys with a laptop and a million songs they stole off the internet claiming to be a DJ. Watch some of my youtube vids and see what i mean. just search DJRonReiner on youtube. A good DJ is not cheap. A cheap DJ is not good. Dont get ripped off. Reputation is everything.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. Ask around, ask your family and friends, have they heard of this person? Ask the venue owners, other service providers, does this person have a good reputation? or do they even know this person exists? Search this person in google and youtube and facebook.
Does he look the part? or is he CHEESY? Trust your gut instinct. Always always always meet your actual DJ in person. Many times a shady DJ will meet you, win you over, sign a contract, get your money and then send in a cheap sub contractor you never met to DJ your wedding. This is the biggest celebration of your life and this joker is sending in the rookie? That kind of shady DJ will get a bad reputation very fast. Always ask around about your DJ.
