Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. Being a professional DJ the majority of my business comes from wedding receptions I am also very commited to other types of events as well such as corporate fundraisers as long as it's for a well noted cause. For years I have donated my services to non for profit services like Foundation Fighting Blindness and many others howver it only counts for a small percentage of my over all types of jobs I do I would say a good 65% of what I do is weddings and 20% percent are private parties and events and 15% percent corporate and school functions.
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Do your homework. You'll get much more out of a meeting or conversation with a DJ entertainment professional if you do a little background homework first.
Find out the average prices are in your area and what services are available. Get an idea of what you like and don't like. Also meet with them! An in person meeting is the best way to interview a potential DJ entertainer. It let's you get an idea of thier personality, style and professionalism. If that's not possible have a phone conversation. Ask Questions until you completly understand what it is they have to offer and what's included in price. Do they look or sound nervous? Take all the sights, sounds and feelings into account along with thier responses; If your gut tells you something isn't right, It probably isn't.
