A. Customer service and reliability are the two most important things to get out of photo/video service providers. You want to know that whomever is scanning your slides and photos are taking great care to treat them like there own. When someone is creating a great gift like a photo/video slideshow, you want to know that the person putting the slideshow together pays great attention to detail to make the slideshow an unforgetable film.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. There is a lot of software the will create photo slideshows automatically in minutes, but you will get generic music and transitions. If I were looking for a company to create a slideshow, I would want to know that they take the extra care and time to create more than a standard slideshow that all the generic photo/video slideshows can produce.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. Ask about the process they use to scan your slides or photos. How many DPI do they scan at? What type of equipment do they use to scan your slides? Is it an automatic machine or do they take the time and care to look at each slide individually to make sure the slides are treated properly.
