Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. I am typically geared for Festivals and Fairs - Volume is the name of the game! Often putting in a 10-15 hour day for 3 days with set up and break down.
I do scale down my main set-up for parties or individual sessions - but the client is none-the-wiser as they get all the 'wow' they expect!

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. It's always a good idea to have other entertainment as well as a face painter as children will quickly become bored waiting for their turn.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I combine airbrush with brush work (and some sponging when called for). It is a more elaborate presentation to the client and delivers more 'pop' in the finished face.
The color palatte I use is also a signature of mine - vibrant, Bold colors that stand out and make you say, "WOW!"

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. That first look! When the painted person sees themself for the first time! It validates the effort and enhances the overall experience!

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. I stay keyed in to the latest products out there for face and body painting and keep up on video tutorials.
Staying inspired is what keeps me going!

Q. What is your greatest strength?

A. I work very well under pressure! When I'm doing a festival and my line is 10-20 people deep I stay focused, painting as quickly as possible but not taking anything away from whomever is under my brush.
It's an experience as well as paint on your face!
