Dan Mindo specializes in children's birthday parties. As the father of a little girl, I believe I know how to entertain children with a live magic show experience. The show features surprise, mystery, magic and comedy. The birthday child is focused in the fun, designed to make them feel like a star, leaving them with a magical gift that they assisted in making. Lots of audience involvement is also featured in the show, so that even the children who are not called up to assist are still a part of the show, and their involvement is important to the show's success.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Watch video of the performer in action. Make sure their style is suited to your needs. If you're hiring a magician to perform for a child's party, then ask yourself does this performer connect with the children? Will the children have a great time interacting with the performer? Does this performer specialize in kids shows or is he a "jack of all trades"? Base your decision on what is best for your party and situation.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. I'm a magician, I can't reveal my secrets! Okay, I'll part with one. When you specialize in kid's shows as I do, you learn that children are not looking for David Copperfield, they want to be amazed yes but more importantly they want to be amused. They want to laugh and feel like they are the star of the show. Most children crave the spotlight.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. As the father of a little girl I believe that understand what makes kids laugh and what mystifies them. My show is geared toward making sure that the children participate and have a great time!
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. Performing magic for children is unlike any other job. I would say it is the best job I could ever have! Seeing the children smile or squeal with delight or watching their expressions of disbelief is the most fun I can have as a performer.

A. Can you make my child float on the Flying Carpet like on your video... and the answer is: Yes I can!
