Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. Walk clients dogs, give them their meals and fresh water, alternate their lights, blinds and radio or tv, bring in the mail and paper, garbage cans to and from the home, administer medication, cleaning litter box or bird cages, picking up pet to take to vet, groomer or boarding, picking up supplies, cleaning pet messes, giving clients help with training or idea's to help pet adjust to being home when clients leave, giving them daily emails updates on how their pets are doing.
Q. Describe three recent jobs you've completed.
A. One clients gone for four days. Dog has a major case of separation anxiety. We did four visits a day to help his stomach we cooked rice and added it to his food. I would say over all he did well since there was only mess on our first visit.
Second is a clients that uses us for our midday service M-F. They have one dog that is very old so we can only take out back but the two males which one is being fostered want to take their self for a walk when they hear the leash. So excited for their daily walks.
Third is a cat client that is gone for a wk. Their cats even after 5 years don't show their self (sad) but we know they are ok when we go there twice a day and meals are being eaten and boxes are being used.
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Look for years of experience, show proof of insurance and bond, make sure they have workers or another company that would be their back up for emergency or on vacations.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. There really isn't one they have to talk with the person and from their conversion they should know if they want to meet.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. Care is specific to each clients pets needs. But the quality of care does not change. There is a staff so there will never be an issue of care not covered. Have experience in administer IV fluids, Insulin shot, Ointments Pills. We are also trying to be green where we can so instead of paper notes, we send daily email and instead of checks we are request payment from our bank like a direct deposit.
