Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Don't be shy! Check out their work, and ask plenty of questions. See if they'll meet for coffee or at least do a phone consulation.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. Determine your budget! If you have a certain price-point, it's easier for photographers to provide a custom quote based on your needs!

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I love meeting new people, and finding different ways to make each session unique. It's so rewarding to know that clients love displaying my work in their homes.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. I kind of fell into it really. I had just had my son (in 2006), and was completely turned off by what the big box stores were offering. I started practicing, and things took off from there!

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. I'm constantly learning! I spend hours researching the lastest trends. I attend workshops, retreats, and get-togethers with other photographers, and I am a member of many photography forums.
