Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. We have specialists in Prenatal Massage, Deep Neuromuscular Therapy, Medical Massage, and Organic Detox Body Wraps. Our specialists have taken advanced training to become certified professionals in these popular modalities or types of massage. We are one of the only Prenatal and Medical Massage certified professionals in the entire state of Indiana.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. My advice to all customers looking to hire a Massage Therapist is to always seek warm referrals from family and friends first, call the establishment to make an appointment for a cosultation (this will allow you the opportunity to view the facility and/or meet the therapist), and feel free to ask any questions that you may have.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. If I were a customer, I would like to know how qualified my massage therapist is and how much experience he/she has. Unfortunately, some spas hide the fact that you actually recieve massage therapy from Estheticians and not Licensed Massage Therapists. While this is, by law, acceptable for Swedish Massage, if a client needs additional care that only a massage therapist can provide, how is that client recieving the full benefit and highest quality of service that the facility can provide?

ALWAYS ask questions before recieving services or hiring someone for massage therapy to avoid unethical practices. By doing this, you are protecting yourself and the massage therapy profession.

Our Staff currently has experience and/or certifications for Oncology, MS, Fibromyalgia, Post Operation, Prenatal/Postpartum, Arthritis, Lupus, Lymphodema, ALS, Repetitive Stress Injury, and Carpel Tunnel Syndrome.

Our clients love that fact that they do not have to drive home after receiving their on site massage and love the fact that the quality of service far exceeds the price tag!

We are one of the few professional spa businesses that offer Side by Side and Couples' Massage. Our years of experience has shown that this is the absolute perfect way to introduce massage to a loved one or to enjoy relaxation time as the finale to a day of celebration for any occasion.

We include gratuity and travel fees into our rates and we still seem to be below average in comparison to other spas!

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. One of our certified massage therapists found an old client from her first year of practice when searching for a new doctor. That doctor not only remembered our therapist, but went to work on her day off to accommodate the needs of our massage therapist. When the doctor was asked why did you come in on your day off for this particular patient? The reply was, this patient was there for me when I was in need of Wellness Care during a time I needed therapeutic massage.

Universal Spa Etiquette for gratuity is 20% of your service total.

There is a $20 travel fee in addition to the service price for all services provided at your location.
