Lexie is an absolutely amazing teacher. It's very obvious that she cares about her students. Lessons are always casual and comfortable, and she always keeps a positive and encouraging attitude. She makes sure to push you just far enough outside of your comfort zone to challenge you without destroying your chops, and she seemingly has a bajillion exercises/excerpts ready for anything you want to work on. Very easy to reach if you need her; I've probably never had to wait more than a couple hours for a response, if that. She really goes above and beyond.

I’ve not had the opportunity to take lessons from Dr. Lexie but she is in the a cappella group I run sound for and she is great! She helps lead the group and is organized and on top of things. She’s a great musician and very excited to share her talents with others.

Lexie has probably forgotten more about music than most people will ever know in the first place. She is organized, knowledgeable, and supportive of others in any musical endeavor she is involved in. She’s also fun to be around and interesting to talk to. I cannot endorse and recommend her enough as a music educator.

Going from a full time trumpeter to a part time player really made me realize how important music is for the soul. Dr.Signor always sparks that light back in me. It’s helpful to have a person who can point out what you do well. As a musician it’s easy to get lost in all of the bad parts of your playing, Dr.Signor always reminds me of how well I’m actually doing. From a playing standpoint I often find it comical how easily Dr.Signor can switch from lead trumpet to lyrical passages without even hesitating. It’s always a great time when I can sit down and spend time with her and talk about music and how much it has impacted our lives.

Signor is a PHENOMENAL trumpet teacher! My range, technical ability, flexibility, and musicality rapidly improved thanks to her holistic approach to the instrument. I cannot recommend her enough for anyone seriously interested in improving on the trumpet.
