FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most of our requests are for weddings and engagements. We have so much fun meeting new people and every wedding is different. We also record and print new born, family pictures, and business shots for web sites, or other marketing needs. Family panoramic One of our most memorable events was a panaromic picture of a large family. The parents wanted all of their children with their grandchidren. We took multiple pitures of each family in front of their farm house in the country. After careful selection and editing, we stitched all 3 individual families together on one long picture. It looks like one picture with each family smiling from the front porch! The photo was printing on a 20 by 60 inch canvas and hung in the living room accross from the two story stone fireplace. Children are often unpredictable with photography sessions. Because of this meticulous method they all look amazing! Our main photographer enjoyed the process so much, he can't wait to create another family panoramic.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look for a photographer that provides all your pictures in digital format. Those who don't hold your photographs hostage, forcing you to buy from them for every print. A digital CD or DVD of your pictures allows you to post them on your favorite web sites, share them via email, and print at your convenience, for family or special events down the road. You may want a professionally printed album from your photographer or a large print. This ensures best quality for you because it also protects the reputation of the photographer. Also, most digital photographs can be printed up to an 8 by 10 inches, sometimes slightly larger, but beyond that requires special computer editing. Consult with your photographer for any prints larger than 8 by 10 inches for top quality.
