Introduction: Hi, I am Marci Burk! I do in-home customized training sessions. Whether you have a new puppy or are dealing with bad behaviors of any form, I am here to help you create a well balanced dog! I travel to your home and work with your dog and your family to ensure dogs stay in their forever home! I teach you how your dog's mind works and what you can do to prevent or stop bad behaviors, all in the comfort of your own home. Generally most people only need one appointment with me. My ultimate goal is to keep your dog moving forward and living the most balanced, healthy life they can with you!

We contacted Marci to help with our 7-year-old lab, Loki, who has always had problems with barking and pulling on the leash. She did an amazing job and we could not be happier with the results! Marci really tailored the experience to meet our needs. When Loki became desensitized to the training, she suggested going to PetSmart to see if his behaviors were triggered there. She really went above and beyond! Loki has already drastically decreased his barking when excited and I never imagined walks could be so easy! Marci even helped us learn how to better facilitate the relationship between Loki and our new 12-week-old puppy. We feel so confident moving forward and reinforcing desired behaviors using the tools she gave us. I can’t recommend her services enough!

The knowledge she has is amazing it has been 3 days since she worked with me and I have already seen better behaviors in Carter. It is still a work in progress but I now have the tools to improve it. I was doing things that were not going to improve his behavior. She will show some very simple methods to improve your fur ball. Well with thing cost now I have to do my part.

I can't say enough about working with Marci. When my (now) husband and I got our golden retriever, I was expecting the same exact dog that I had as a child. Instead, the day she turned 1 year old, she started becoming snarly around her food and toys. After one session with Marci, we started implementing the advice she gave us. Within a time frame of about 3 months, we saw almost complete rehabilitation. HUGE improvement.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The price for the session is $397 plus tax. I do travel if needed. Cost for sessions outside of a 30 mile radius of Indianapolis are subject to an additional travel surcharge.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We do a brief intake survey to ask questions and schedule the session after making a $125 deposit.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I interned under another behaviorist and have been a behaviorist for 6 years.
