Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. Residential home inspections, mold inspections, mold testing and radon testing are the most common services we do.
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. To protect yourself, make sure that the home inspection company you choose is a member of the Better Business Bureau and Angies List. Also do not be too quick to simply accept your Realtors recommendation for a home inspector. Check em out!
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. Not all home inspections and inspectors are created equal. Look for an independent home inspector not affiliated with the Real Estate Agent. The inspection should take a minimum of 2-3 hours to complete.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. How many inspections have you performed? How long do your home inspections take? How big is the inspection report? Do you send the inspection report electronically? What types of items are included and excluded from the inspection?
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. Rather than thinking of the inspection fee, buyers should be most concerned with the quality of the home inspection and the knowledge of the home inspector.

A. I really enjoy helping people. We help our clients make smart and informed decisions about the property they are thinking of purchasing. We will not let anyone wind up with a spit shined money pit!
