Introduction: Body-N-Motion is not your typical personal training studio or gym. We are a private performance studio. We believe results come from complete wellness, inside and out. By guiding you to reach your physical goals, it frees you to concentrate on your inner wellness. We have no contracts and no membership fees, and we are more affordable than LA Fitness, Lifetime, Anytime and Bally's. Our human performance specialists are the best, and we only offer 1 hour sessions to ensure our clients get all the personal attention they need. Our services include: - Individual or group training sessions: Clients work with their trainer to promote healthy lifestyle through exercise. We design an exercise program based on our client's goals, their body's needs and presented problems. Our specialists will point out imbalances and help to strengthen weaknesses and to enhance your strengths. - Fitness assessments and consultations: This includes a battery of tests to determine overall fitness levels followed by recommendations on how we can increase our client's overall performance, health and quality of life. - Dietary and nutritional evaluation programs: Our specialists keep clients accountable on their dietary intakes. We strive to educate them to make better food choices and try to make them aware of areas that can be improved upon. - Corporate fitness: We are looking to help design programs to help corporations keep their employees healthy. Reduce injuries by incorporating exercise programs either on-site or by encouraging them to come to our facility. - Sports performance: Our specialists dissect the specific sport that our clients desire to improve. We then design the proper exercise programs to increase their overall performance at that sport. - Youth fitness: Our desire is to help the youth of today avoid many of the health concerns facing our aging population. Our youth programs incorporate fun with exercise programs to teach them how to live the healthiest and most productive life possible. - Stress management: During our exercise programs, we attempt to help our clients identify the stressors they face in their daily lives and help them develop ways to deal with them through exercise and breathing techniques. Along with exercise, we have found that listening to our clients give them a productive outlet to reduce their stress and makes a remarkable difference in lowering their overall stress levels. - Pain management: When the body is out of alignment, more stress is put on certain areas of the body, causing pain. This could be due to past or present injuries the body compensates to continue to allow people to function. However, improper muscle balance and overuse of certain joints causes pain. We re-balance the bodies tracking and muscular balance to eliminate or at least reduce the pain that is associated with our client’s daily lives. - Senior fitness: We incorporate all the above techniques to help our senior clients continue to function at the highest possible level. We incorporate balance, flexibility and strength exercises to help insure our seniors have the highest quality life possible. (Many of our most active clients are over 60 years old!) - Yoga: Karen Newton is our certified yoga instructor, offering classes that incorporate a variety of styles. In 2004, she received her 200-hour Teacher Training Certification from Moksha Yoga Center in Chicago, and has seven years experience. Private instruction is available upon request.
