Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Resumes (including federal resumes), cover letters, thank you letters, CVs, posting of resumes to CareerBuilder.com and Monster.com, tips on interviewing skills, etc. I also offer free faxing of your resume to any fax number in the U.S., and free updates with no time limit. I respond quickly to customer e-mails and phone calls, and as a result of my customer service, many of my customers refer me to their friends, family members, and co-workers.

Q. Describe three recent jobs you've completed.

A. I did a federal resume for a nurse practitioner at the V.A. Hospital, a resume for a CPA who was also an attorney, and an operations manager for a manufacturing facility. Each client had very different skills, so the resumes were nothing alike. I may do a resume for a truck driver one day, and a CEO the next day, which means I have to have excellent listening skills!

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Your chances of getting an interview are usually greater if you have your resume professionally done, since professional resume writers know what it takes to catch the eye of an employer. The use of keywords is important, as well as showing your unique strengths and skills. A good resume writer will make you feel very comfortable with the process, and much more confident about your job search.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. The buyer should have particular types of jobs in mind, since a resume is much more effective if it is designed for specific jobs rather than just generic. If a customer brings me one or two job descriptions from jobs they are interested in, I can pull keywords from those job descriptions and make sure they are included in the resume and cover letter.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I insist on doing a personal interview with each client, either at my office or over the phone. The interview helps me (and the client) determine their particular skills and strengths that an employer values most. My cover letters are also unique, and strictly personalized to the client's skills and experience. No two cover letters are alike.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I meet some really interesting people from every profession you can imagine. My office is in my home, so I am able to schedule customers 7 days a week at whatever time is most convenient for them.

Q. What is your greatest strength?

A. My greatest strength is my command of the English language, and my ability to explain complex details in simple terms.
