FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I commonly provide pre-ceremony portraits of the bride, groom, wedding party and immediate families. While this practice is more common on the coasts, and in south Florida, wid-westerners are discovering how it eases the tensions of the day, and gives the bride and groom more time to enjoy their guests at the reception.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Do your homework! Look at wedding photographer websites and check out photographer's portfolio galleries. How you feel about the pictures is personal, subjective and, I believe, one of the most important considerations for choosing your wedding photographer. Do any of the pictures make you smile? Tug at your heart? Bring a little tear? In the photographer's image samples, Is there a balance between art, beauty and telling the wedding stories in ways that make sense to you? Are there client reviews you can read? Do you have control over your pictures or do you have to go through the photographer to get images? Do the photographer's rates work with your budget?
