I feel my work stands out from others because I am a female. In the field of boudoir and pin up photography, I feel this is important because I know how my clients feel. what areas they are concerned about, what parts of their bodies they want to show off and what parts they want to hide. I have seen the impact that great photos can have on my clients self- esteem! Over 75% of my photography sessions are boudoir, this is not just something I offer, it's something I specialize in. I go to workshops, read up, speak with other photogs. I do whatever I can to improve my skill. The amazing impact that I am able to have on women's self-esteem. So often, I'll get a client that will come in, nervous as she can be, swearing up and down that she doesn't think we will be able to get any good photos and she's going to be horrible at this. After some discussion of what she feels are her best features and what features she may not like, the best, we will start shooting. Almost every session when we're done, I'll hear, 'Thank you so much! This was way easier than I thought, and you made me feel so comfortable!'. Then once they view their images, I start hearing things like, oh my goodness, I can't believe that's me! I look so beautiful, how will I ever pick which photos I want. To me, that's what it is all about!
