All styles, all ages, all levels!
Ages for piano start with those students who know their numbers to 10, letters to G and major colors. Vocal students start according to their talent, maturity and attention span. I have also helped students that have had speech impediments.
Piano students will learn to play anything from Boogie to Classical, sacred while training your ear to add to the piece by playing chords and other types of free styling. Sightreading is most important so you will be able to pick up any piece of music and play it. Students must have a piano or electric piano that has 88 weighted keys.
Voice students will work mostly on technique such as breath control, range and diction. Students that cannot play for themselves to sing will need to have Karaoke CDG's or a Cassette player for tapes. If you do not have these I charge a fee of $12. for 6 songs on CD's or cassettes for you to practice with.
I charge $20. each thirty minute lesson for Piano or Voice lessons and you pay in advance by the month. I do teach hour lessons if you are interested and they are $40.
Group lessons are scheduled during holidays instead of regular lessons. Sometime we play for each other at my studio and other special holidays we entertain for retirement centers, and nursing homes. I call my students "The Entertainers".
