Introduction: My name is Allyson Rohde and I have been a stylist in Lincoln Park in the city for 14 years. I have also been an in salon educator for 10 years and have traveled and educated myself one on one with THE top educators in our industry like Nick Arrojo, Vivienne MacKinder, Fabrice Gili, Mark Hayes, Candy Shaw, so that I am rounded in many techniques from french razoring to Vidal Sassoon precision. I work with an Italian color line that I have educated on for 8 years in salon and had the chance to visit the factory and educate myself in Rome. I also have been doing free lance wedding/events hair and makeup for 8 years. I have a published library and these hands have even graced the hair of Jarod Leto lol. I also have my own personal studio I work out of in NW Indiana in the town of St John. So I travel Chicagoland and NWI as well as into SW Michigan and lower Wisconsin. I take color and cut appointments at my NWI and Chicago location as well. I'm so happy I found Allyson to do hair & makeup for my wedding day. There were three of us and I was worried it would be too much for one person, but she made it seem easy-breezy and we all looked (and felt) beautiful. She has such a good attitude and contributed to the atmosphere of joyful fun. Would absolutely hire her again and am even planning to make the Chicago-Indiana drive for personal hair appointments. If you are looking for a great hairstyles for your wedding day then Ally is it! She was amazing! All of my bridesmaids loved their hair! She listened to what they wanted and followed through! She was on time and finished early. For my hair I couldn't have been anymore happy! She took what i wanted and it was even better then what I imagined! I do not have enough good things to say about Allyson. If there was one thing I would never change about my wedding it would be hiring her as my hair stylist. Not only were me and all my girls who got their hair done by her OBSESSED with our hair, but it stayed in ALL NIGHT. She was a dream to work with leading up to the wedding day, she was professional, responsive, and so so nice. It was like having another girlfriend in the room while we were getting ready. She came so prepared, on time, and finished everyone with time to even run down the hall and style my husband's hair! I could go on and on, but I'll just say this, you won't regret booking this amazingly talented stylist!
