- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor of Art’s degree in Graphic Design, with a concentration in illustration from Huntington University. Our program had a strong fine arts foundation focused on developing the skills and understanding needed to produce the highest quality art & design.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Two things... First, know what you want to communicate... know your story and trust the artist or designer to get you there. It’s the artist’s job to determine how best to apply those elements and principles of good design and aesthetics in a way that can creatively communicate your story. And second, understand what you’re money is getting you when you hire an artist. A cheap artist isn’t always a good artist. You’re really not paying for the product. You’re paying for the time it takes for an artist to create the product.
