Introduction: I am now teaching private basketball lessons in the Los Angeles area to adults, teenagers and kids ages eight and up. My teaching style is grounded in the basic fundamentals, such as running, jumping, passing, dribbling and shooting. I believe that if you start with and continually work on these skills, you will develop into a player who will be of greater value to the teams on which you play. I will encourage the development of all players regardless of their skill level so they continue to grow as a player and enjoy their time spent on the basketball court. We will start with a skill assessment. This will give me an insight into the type of player you are. Based on your skill level and goals, we will develop a personalized plan together that draws from the basic fundamentals and work towards advancing your skills as a basketball player through the use of ball-handling, dribbling, passing, and shooting drills, along with exercises focused on running and jumping. In combination with physical activity, we will also discuss game situations and the knowledge needed to execute successful plays. I will help you play your game and coach you for success on and off the court.
