Introduction: From start-to-finish I make it a point to handle the whole process as a pleasurable experience for the client rather then a chore that they "have" to do. My style, creativity and techniques are what set me apart from the rest. Most clients love how my photos "pop" and have that X-factor quality that they always look for. I love seeing the entire process come together. From the first meeting with the clients to discuss what they would like, to producing the shoot, to casting, of course the actual shooting and seeing the final product and how the client reacts to it - that's probably the best part of it.

About two years ago, I wanted to make something personal for my boyfriend's birthday. So I came up with the idea of creating a personalized calendar with professional pictures of myself, but I didn't want amateur photos taken from a point and shoot camera. A friend referred me to JD and I am so glad I contacted him! I have never taken professional photos before I met JD, so posing in front of a camera was a bit awkward and uncomfortable for me. But JD made me feel completely comfortable in front of the camera. He was very professional before, during, and after the shoot and helped me feel beautiful and confident during the entire process. Along with his vision and input during the shoot, I was pleased with the outcome. The pictures turned out AMAZING and my boyfriend LOVED the calendar!! I can't thank JD enough and he will always be my go to photographer/ friend!!! :)

I've worked with Jerick a few times, and he comes well-prepared for anything you can throw at him. He's got a great attitude and is super easy to work with. I don't really like the name of his business, but that's such a lame thing to dislike, haha. You won't regret hiring him.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently did a project which involved dancers and a water set that was custom built inside of the studio (included in my samples). Having met two (sisters) of the dancers for the first time that day (shoot day), I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out, but it exceeded any expectation I had. The two sisters having danced ballet for 16 years, did amazing jobs all throughout the shoot. That was the first part, the second part the post-processing which brought the photos to a completely different level. It was amazing.
